No 0.92.2 Release 3u522y
For the confused, there was no official 0.92.2 release. There was a build that a problem was noticed with that was posted on the publisher site. The issue was fixed and it's been repackaged as 0.92.2 Rev 2.
PA tries to update Inkscape again and again 92wq
Whenever I launch the PA platform, the updater (which is set to automatically check on startup) prompts to update Inkscape 0.92.2 Rev 2, though it already has been updated. Completely uninstalling (i.e. removing) the app doesn't help.
Please let me know if you need any more details (screenshots, system info etc).

This is due to difference in version numbers between Inkscape Portable and the updater database.
Inkscape Portable is showing a version number of
0.92.2.1whereas the database is looking for0.92.2.2.We will get this fixed as soon as possible. For the time being, you can ignore the recommendation.

I've updated the updater database. We generally do a .2 at the end when it's a Rev 2 but didn't for this one.
