Features 5fe

ScreenshotA number of strawberries are typically spread around each level, which generally consists of a complicated landscape seen from the side - i.e. much like islands in the sky. You need to collect all these berries to complete the level - when you've got the last one, you should find the sunflower which will complete the level when you touch it. Variations to this basic gameplay may be found around some of the levels. Your motocross bike is likewise seen from the side, and you control its throttle, braking, and simple changes to the attitude by jerking the bike back and forth. Additionally you can change the direction of your driving, by rotating on the spot.

Controls - You control your bike using the keyboard: Up arrow accelerates, Down arrow brakes, Left/Right arrow rotates, Space turns around and drives in the other direction.

Additional levels are available online. Note that adding additional levels will slow the speed at which X-Moto Portable launches and shuts down as the levels are temporarily copied to the local PC for X-Moto to use.

Sorry, 5x472j

one step forward (official release), two steps back (inferior way to make it portable).
I'll continue using the portable launcher by Pieter Kerstens. Also it's very sad that the original portable developer hasn't been mentioned here before. Sad
Just my 2 cents ...

Discontinued 562w21

The original portable version seems discontinued and the is unavailable (and I have no copy):
https://portableapps.isosite.org/node/12138

So this was recreated from scratch. That's why the original developer is not mentioned, none of his work could be used. Sad

Try 102uu

Ah 2x5h21

That would explain it. The post I linked to is the one that was on the Development Tests page and posted in the Apps Ready for Release thread. It looks like that new thread was created without updating those locations or posting an update in the original thread (which is a bit odd as the original thread only had 32 comments and he'd been updating it for new releases previously).

I just grabbed the release you linked. It's still outdated (old version, pre-Vista security setup) but it does portablize using a command line option I was unaware of. I'll work from there and incorporate that and get it to properly upgrade both older versions.
